General Questions
- Comprehensive UK insurance cover for the primary driver.
- VAT is included in the rental cost.
- No restrictions on mileage.
- Breakdown cover anywhere in the UK (excluding Ireland).
- Parking for 1 car when you collect your motorhome from the depot. Charged at £2.50 per day. See extras page.
- Free one-on-one tour of the vehicle before you leave.

- Drivers aged 23 – 75 years with a fully valid license with a maximum of 6 points, held for more than 3 years.
- Up to 3 additional drivers can be added at a cost of £5 per day per driver. The primary driver costs are included in your rental amount; fees will apply for extra drivers.
- All drivers MUST be present when collecting the motorhome.

- Fully valid license and a maximum of 6 points. Please call the Office on 01924 276770 if you have any more, we will always try to get you passed with the Insurance company.
- Passport.
- International licence or passport with photographic ID (countries outside the EU).
- 2 x Utility bills or bank statement to prove your home address dated within 90 days of rental date. If you are using a D/L from a different country, we will need 4 x Utility bills, these need to be dated within 90 days.
- We will also require a DVLA Licence check code for all uk drivers.
- Monday - Friday - Collect between 2pm and 4 pm, Return between 9am and 10am, very latest 11am keys handed in and unpacked. Your motorhome may be going out again at 2pm. If there is availability then we can add an early collection 9-12 midday or a late return 2-4pm/ 1pm on Saturday. This is charged at 1/2 days hire charge.
- Saturday - Collect between 10am and 1pm by arrangement, Return between 8am and 10am
- Sunday - Closed
- Please allow 1 hour for a demonstration of the vehicle held at the depot.
- Please note that there is a chargeable late fee for all motorhomes returned after 10am.
- Bookings can be made through our online booking system, over the phone or by visiting our office.
- We require a deposit of £250.00.
- The remaining balance is required 6 weeks before the collection date.
- If the booking is less than 6 weeks till collection, we require the full amount.
- There is no minimal hire period however there is a minimum hire charge of 5/7 days for all bookings depending on the time of the year.
- Camper Rent UK reserved the right to increase the minimum period for special events such as; Christmas or Festivals – please call us to discuss.
- More than 6 weeks till the collection of your motorhome – deposit fee is non-refundable.
- 6 – 2 weeks till collection of your motorhome – 50% of the total hire charge is non-refundable.
- 2 weeks – No show – 100% of the total hire charge is non-refundable.
- Sorry but unfortunately we cannot transfer the cost from one motorhome to another.
- Yes, £1,000 is payable when you collect your motorhome via credit or debit card.
- For Festivals and if our Insurance company requests, or if you are taking a pet with you, then a security deposit of £1,500 is required.
- The card holder MUST be present at collection to pay the security deposit.
The insurance policy has an excess of £1,000.00.
All motorhomes are 1 – 4 years old - regularly and thoroughly serviced and looked after.
Yes, we are a pet friendly company however, you will be required to sign a Pet Policy and your security deposit will be £1500.
- Of course, your car can be left in our securely locked compound at the depot, there is a charge of £2.50 per day.
- For extra cars, there will be a charge of £5.00 per car, per day.

Sorry but unfortunately not. All motorhomes need to be collected and returned to our depot.
- To fully power your motorhome you will need 240 volts of power.
- All motorhomes have an on board 240 volt plug socket that can be used.
- The leisure battery can also be charged through the mains electric.
- All motorhome fridges can function from the mains electric.
- All motorhomes can use a generator instead of a 240 volt mains hook up.
- Of course, our motorhomes are suitable for all seasons.
- All motorhomes have floor insulations and double glazing.
- All motorhomes have heating and hot water supplied by gas.
- During the winter months we also provide (on request) an electric fan heater for extra warmth.
- All motorhome lights can be powered by the leisure battery.

- Of course, you can take all motorhomes to Europe. Subject to travel restrictions.
- You will need to take out additional insurance of £70.00 per week.
- Of course, you can take all motorhomes to Ireland. Subject to travel restrictions.
- You will need to take out addition insurance of £35.00 per week.
- Of course, all motorhomes can be taken on ferries.
- You will need to supply the ferry company with the registration number and length of the motorhome – please call us to discuss.
- Our Insurance has an excess of £1000.00, so you are liable for the 1st £1000.00 of any damage to the interior or exterior of the Motorhome.
- Breakdown cover is included anywhere in the Uk and Europe.
- Camper Rent UK will brief you on all accident information during your 1 hour demonstration of the vehicle held at the depot.

- All motorhomes MUST be returned to Camper Rent UK, 94 Owl Lane, Ossett, West Yorkshire WF5 9AU before 11am.
- All motorhomes should be returned with a full tank of diesel and LPG gas.
- All motorhomes should be returned with an empty toilet dispensary system.
- All motorhomes should be returned clean and tidy (including food removal).
